Since I started baking at THE KITCHEN, I found there're a lot of home-bakers living in Mui Wo. A lot of customers came buy my bread and told me their experiences in making bread and we shared different opinions. Some of the home-baker in here even grow their own sour dough and raise their own yeast. It's always good to know people who are enjoying the same interest =)
I'm always excited when peoples walk into THE KITCHEN and buy my own homemade bread. And even some customers come because of the recommendation of my homemade bread from friends. But sad to tell all of my bread fans, tomorrow will be my last day working at THE KITCHEN because I am going to another professional kitchen to continue on my bakery dream. I am looking forward to learn some more stuffs in my future working place then bring a whole new brand of mine back to MUI WO. And I am sure THE KITCHEN is going to have another good chef, keeps going on making good, natural, fantastic pizza, bread and pasta for all the food-lovers in Lantau. In here I give my all best wishes to THE KITCHEN, wish Mark and Avi will do well in the future and keeps bringing us good food ^^
The reason for setting up this MUI WO HOME BAKER group and blog because I am glad to meet a lot of good friends sharing the same interest, baking, in Mui Wo. I will be sad if I lost all the contact with my home baking friends cause of my leaving from THE KITCHEN. I will try my best to gather most of the home baker in the south Lantau, try to arrange some activities and parties to promote home baking in this tiny beautiful island.
